My Recent Trips
I recently took a cruise on the Crystal Serenity, 12/1/08. We sailied from Miami to Caldera with stops in Turks and Caicos, Tortola, St. Barts and Aruba before transiting the Panama Canal. As usual the weather was great, warm and breezy, typical of this time of year.
The Serenity is undergoing some transitions in some of her staterooms. Crystal is adding several Penthouses on deck 10 by taking the AA Deluxe staterooms with verandas and converting them to Penthouses with a veranda. We toured one of the newly fininshed rooms and the changes are spectacular. They have replaced the wood vanity area with marble, added a vanity light, dimmer switches for all of the lights and stategically placed night lights for the occasional night-time trip to the bathroom. They have also added upgraded Flat Screen TV's and stereo systems in the new rooms.
Crystal has also redone the Crystal Cove and it is a much improved design with new furniture, carpeting and a softer color scheme. The bar has been moved to the center of the room adding additional ambience and seating as well.
If you haven't tried Crystal Cruises yet, you need to treat yourself to the most luxurious experience on the & seas. Try it and you too will be Crystalized!!
