Kathleen. I would like to take this opportunity thank you for all the work you put into making all the bookings on my trip to Sarasota. The outward bound ship , The Rottadam, was excellent. Much smaller than the Cunard ships, but never the less, most comfortable and the service excellent. Embarkation at Southampton was a treat as most of the passengers were on day trips to London, Windsor etc. Only six others were in front of me. !! We did hit some strong winds going over and the captain had to go north to avoid the worst.We had 10 metre waves which caused havoc in the pool which had to be emptied to prevent damage !!! I managed to obtain a tour of the bridge, but don’t tell any future passengers!!!
I then spent two weeks with my sister and Gil. Of course it was too hot to go out much. The QM cruise home was as usual very good. The crossing was as we say ‘flat as a pancake ‘ the whole time. The service as to be expected, excellent. May I also thank you for the on board $’s that you arranged for me on both ships, also the chocolate strawberries on the QM 2. It is very generous of you.
